Integration/Implementation of a Single Sign On Architecture
Business Question/Need
The client instituted a company-wide initiative to provide secure access to line of business intranet and customer-facing sites through ubiquitous single sign-on architecture. Development group compliance and guidelines for use of the sign-on framework was included in the initiative as well as technical support for development and installation.
Technical Solution
The project utilizes the MS .Net platform and the Netegrity Siteminder product and is focused on migrating selected client applications to a centralized security architecture. The project involves ASP, VB, COM/COM+, and Java development. Pinnacle delivered Phases I and II of this project on-time and within budget, resulting in further extensions of the project as well as an increases to the size of the Pinnacle team.
