Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is an IT consultant? As an IT consultant you will work for Pinnacle but we will match your skills and experience with a company needing your expertise. You will work for them either at their site or remotely.

I am already an independent IT consultant do I have to become a Pinnacle employee if I sign up with you? No, many of our consultants are W-2 employees but you can be a 1099 or corp-to-corp employee, which ever arrangement works best for you.

How is the pay? Pinnacle’s pay scale is very competitive with the market place. Wages are linked to job descriptions and geographic locations.

Are there any benefits available? Yes, if you are a W-2 employee with Pinnacle you will be eligible for benefits. These include, health insurance or flexible spending account, dental insurance, and a 401K savings plan.

How am I paid? You will be paid either weekly or bi weekly.  If you like we can arrange for automatic deposit or your check will be mailed to you.

Is there a fee? No, our consultants are never charged a fee; all fees are paid by the companies for whom you will be working.

How long do job assignments last? The length of assignments can vary significantly. Some assignments might last two weeks while others could last two years.

Can I refuse an assignment? Certainly, but hopefully that will not be necessary since our recruiters put a lot of thought into matching you with the right assignment.
