1.  Experience working a help desk and
working operation issues (Enterprise support and operations support)

2.  Networking experience (Routers,
Proxies, Packet capture) – CCNA very helpful

3.  (Not Mandatory) DLP (Data Loss
Prevention) experience – scanning data for violations (i.e. Capital One deals
with credit card number).  This is

4.  (Not Mandatory) – CASB experience. 
Someone with CASB won’t want to do this work.   They would want to
teach someone in production support the CASB experience

Notes:

– Ivan leads up a new team
that is on the hook for Cyber Security

– They will be doing
ticket management and working with the vendor Netscope.  This is Level 1
coverage

– Need someone to work
with SAS and Google Suite

– His team runs a tool
called Netscope (this tool secures Google Suite).   This is what they
would work on every day

– Network Flows, Pocket
captures

– CCNA very helpful

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) Support Engineer 

We are seeking highly creative and intellectually curious (CASB) Support
Engineer to be instrumental in accelerating Capital One’s transformation to
DevOps and the Public Cloud and adoption of Security as automation. As part of
an internal engineering security team, you will specialize in helping the CASB
Application team to drive efficiency, security, and reliability into their
entire Development to Operations lifecycle. While embedding with teams, you
will strategize, consult, and prototype alongside other engineers to implement
best practices and solutions for applications utilizing CI/CD and the Cloud.
You will evangelize CASB functionality to emerging SaaS platforms.. 

Responsibilities & Expectations:
Track Network flow and obtain packet captures to solve network routing issues
Ensure operational uptime and resiliency of the CASB platform
Ability to plan and lead an engagement with an application team to adopt our
CASB platform for Risk Controls
Engineer, consult and upskill other engineers on DevOps and CASB solutions
Generating innovative ideas, developing proof-of-concepts and rapid prototypes
alongside other engineers
Ability to clearly articulate and explain complex concepts and technologies to
a non-technical audience
Ability to function in a rapidly evolving environment and adapt to frequent
transitions in technologies and teams
Strong analytical, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary
due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors, and other
engineering teams, solving complex system problems together
