Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has named Pinnacle Group Chairman and CEO Nina Vaca to the Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list, a recognition she’s received since the list’s inception.
Along with being named to the list, Vaca was inducted into SIA’s Staffing 100 Hall of Fame earlier this year for her contributions as a thought leader and for her steadfast commitment to excellence, building Pinnacle Group into one of the largest Latina-owned workforce solutions firms in the country. Pinnacle Group has been named the fastest-growing women-owned company in the nation by the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) in 2018 and 2015 and earlier this year, was named to the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the country for the 13th time, making it one of only seven companies to do so in the history of the list.
The annual Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list recognizes female leaders and influencers in the global talent marketplace. Previously, the list was comprised of 100 female leaders worldwide; this year 150 women have been recognized. The Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list is sponsored by Bullhorn.
“It makes me overwhelmingly proud to appear alongside so many trailblazing industry leaders on the Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list from Staffing Industry Analysts,” Vaca said. “Pinnacle lives and breathes the power of women, as 63 percent make up our headquarters in some of our most prominent roles. Although my name is on SIA’s list, the distinction belongs to the men and women of Pinnacle Group whose leadership and entrepreneurial skills have made it the powerhouse that it is today.”
SIA created the list to shine a spotlight on those whose accomplishments and contributions have not just elevated the industry but have helped to shape, define and influence the rapidly evolving world of work.
“Around the globe the fight to increase female representation continues as women are outnumbered in leadership positions, boardrooms and the upper echelons of business. While women dominate the staffing industry at branch-level, this is not reflected in our C-suites,” said Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products at SIA. “It continues to be essential that we recognize female leadership and call out the immensely important roles these women play in developing, driving and delivering solutions, work models and value for the industry. It is exciting to see the list grow this year to include more of the executives who are making things happen across the workforce solutions ecosystem.”
From established players to up-and-coming executives, the women comprising the 2018 list are succeeding in taking a $461 billion global industry forward.
“This year’s SIA Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list is comprised of some truly exemplary leaders in the global staffing and recruiting industry, and these leaders should be proud of their tremendous accomplishments,” said Art Papas, Founder and CEO of Bullhorn. “These amazing leaders serve as role models for everyone in the industry and their leadership will encourage the next generation of innovative thinkers. While there is still more work to do to increase female leadership representation, these leaders and their stories represent progress. Bullhorn is incredibly proud to support the Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list.”
