Pinnacle Group CEO Nina Vaca Advocates for Women in Business at Global Conference Celebrating International Women’s Day

Pinnacle Group Chairman and CEO Nina Vaca delivered the keynote at the International Women’s Day Conference 2020, an event organized by the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses (GFSB) and Women in Business (WIB).

The event, titled “Harness Your Power –The Journey is Yours,” commemorates International Women’s Day with an entire day dedicated to discussions around the theme: #EachforEqual; an equal world is an enabled world.

“Events like these are key towards changing perceptions and expanding the opportunities and platforms for women,” Vaca said. “By joining with both men and women who all want you to succeed, you create a wonderful global ecosystem where you can receive the support, guidance, and connections needed to excel.”

Vaca founded Pinnacle Group, a workforce solutions powerhouse, in 1996 and has spent much of her career focusing on expanding opportunities for minorities and women in business. She is not only a trailblazing Latina entrepreneur and dynamic global leader but a world-changing philanthropist as well. In 2014, she was appointed by the White House as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship. In that capacity, she has traveled to five continents inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs globally.

“Nina Vaca is a vibrant business leader who understands the importance of opening doors for other women,” Dineen García, co-organizer of the conference, said. “Vaca helped this conference fulfill its goal of leaving attendees fulfilled and inspired.” Garcia is also an experienced leader and influencer as the Principal of Diversity Global Consulting, LLC.

Along with Vaca, the conference featured speakers Hon. Samantha Sacramento MP, Minister for Equality and Justice, and a senior representative from the British Association of Women in Policing. Panelists included local and international members of the Gibraltar Community sharing their expertise, journeys, and personal experiences.

The event provided local businesses and the diverse attendees with ideas and action points to help them move forward in a positive manner into a more equal and equitable future for all.
